CHICAGO, June 2005 -- Maxim Revenue Management Solutions (MaximRMS), a leading global provider of Revenue Management and Profit Optimization software and services for the hospitality industry and Cendant Travel Distribution Services, a division of Cendant Corp. (NYSE: CD), today announced their partnership in demonstrating an advanced CRS to RMS interface solution at HITEC 2005. The collaboration is the result of participation in the Property/Distribution Solution Workgroup established by Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG). MaximRMS and Cendant have worked together with HTNG to define and deliver a technology solution that will improve the interoperability of ADS, GDS, CRS, and PMS systems with revenue management systems.
The companies will demonstrate an interface solution which achieves the HTNG workgroup's goal of integrating key distribution systems for hotels. HITEC attendees will be able to view the seamless integration of Cendant's Voyager CRS, Orbitz ADS and Galileo GDS systems with MaximRMS' e.FLEX Revenue Management System. As reservations are booked, modified or cancelled in Voyager CRS, reservation data flows seamlessly to e.FLEX. Based on the reservation data, as soon as e.FLEX updates availability and overbooking controls they are sent to Voyager.
